Buy My Darlings – Let Love Rule

This September, Buy My Darlings returns to NDSM FUSE in Amsterdam Noord with a special fifth edition titled Let Love Rule. The festival brings together contemporary photography, personal encounters, and social engagement in a vibrant format that is both professional and accessible.

Buy My Darlings is a platform for both established photographers and emerging talents without gallery representation. It offers artists the chance to present their work directly to an art-loving public, to connect with fellow makers, and to share the stories behind their images.

The exhibition runs for four weeks (Sept 11 - Oct 05) and features sixteen photographers. From 19–21 September, the exhibition expands into a lively event weekend where additional photographers and independent publishers join in. Following the now well-loved format of direct table presentations, they showcase their work, sell prints and photobooks, and engage in conversation with visitors.

Alongside the photographers, publishers such as Fw:Books, The Eriskay Connection, Lecturis, and Self Publishers United will present their latest titles through book launches and signing sessions. This year’s edition also carries an extra social meaning with a special charity initiative for Gaza.

Buy My Darlings is the place to discover contemporary photography, meet the makers behind the work, and find unique prints and books to take home. The event remains free and open to all.
