A jury composed of Max Pinckers, Yumi Goto, Karla Hiraldo-Voleau, Giuseppe Oliverio, and Camilla Marrese selected 30 projects and dummies from the open call for a dedicated display at Serra Madre.

Selected from the PhMuseum 2025 Photobook Award, the projects will be exhibited at Photobook Mania 2025 – PhMuseum's first photography publishing fair, taking place this 18-19 October in Bologna, Italy.

Exhibited artists include Akanksha Pandey, Alejandro "Luperca" Morales, Aria Shahrokhshahi, Claire Cocano, Claudia Jaguaribe, Czepiel Maciej, Cédrine Scheidig, Davide Sartori, Dragan Saric, Edgar Martins, Federico Possati, Fujimura Family, Greta Valente, Jan A. Staiger, Jason Hendardy, Jinyong Lian, Justin Maxon, Leonardo Magrelli, Marcel Top, Masina Pinheiro & Gal Cipreste, Najhmi Cartagena, Serena Radicioli, Steven Natusch, Sushant, Thero Makepe, Tim Gassauer, Yuan Lin, Yuchen Wang, and Xuechun Wang. Join the exhibition tour on Saturday 18 october, 10.30am. Additionally, on the same day at 6:30pm, it will be the time of the Award Ceremony. Giuseppe Oliverio, PhMuseum Founding and Artistic Director, will disclose the prize recipient of the PhMuseum 2025 Photobook Award, whose work will become a photobook published by PhMuseum. He will further announce the recipient of MPB's Special Mention, who will receive a €800 voucher to spend on used photo and video equipment at MPB.

The shortlist will be one of three exhibitions taking place in a greenhouse, accompanied by the presence of 23 publishers and booksellers, a workshop, and more.
