FOUNDRY SEOUL presents Dolce Far Niente, a group exhibition celebrating the beauty of idleness and the joy of simply being, curated in cooperation with Los Angeles-based advisor and curator Irina Stark.

Overview

Drawing inspiration from the Italian notion of “the sweetness of doing nothing,” Dolce Far Niente brings together eleven artists from diverse cultural backgrounds working across a wide range of media, inviting visitors to slow down and reconsider their relationship with time, presence, and purpose. In a world obsessed with motion and achievement, Dolce Far Niente is a reminder that there is profound meaning in stillness—and that doing nothing can, in fact, be everything.

Exhibited artists are Basim Magdy, Em Kettner, Heman Chong, Jonny Negron, Joeun Kim Aatchim, Nevine Mahmoud, Patricia Iglesias Peco, Pixy Liao, Rae Klein, Se Oh, and Victoria Gitman.
