The exhibition presents a selection of titles from the PhMuseum Lab library in Bologna, curated by Small Photobook Cult.

Small Photobook Cult is a homely podcast about photobooks hosted by Gabriele Chiapparini, who explores photobooks page by page with the photographers who created them.

As part of the Photobook Mania 2025 program, this exhibition displays a curated selection of photobooks from the PhMuseum Lab's library, our physical space in Bologna, Italy.

Among the featured books American Glitch by Andrea Orejarena and Caleb Stein published by Gnomic Book, Better In The Dark Then His Rider by Francesco Merlini (Depart Pour l'Image), Maria Lax's Some Kind Of Heavenly Fire published by Setanta, Tender by Carla Williams (TBW Books). Titles also include Flowers Drink the River by Pia-Paulina Guilmoth (Stanley/Barker), Hereafter by Federico Clavarino (Skinnerboox), La Cattedrale by Riccardo Svelto (Witty Books), Nothing Personal by Nikita Teryoshin (Gost), Aaron Schuman's Sonata published by Mack, The Lines We Draw by Lavinia Parlamenti and Manfredi Pantanella, and The Rooted Heart Began To Change by Allan Salas (Witty Books).

On Saturday 18 October, 10.30am, Gabriele Chiapparini will lead a guided tour of the exhibition to delve into the curated selection.
