VAiF Portfolio Open Call

The selected portfolio will be presented in a group exhibition in Thessaloniki, Greece, as part of the second Visual Arts International Festival – VAiF25.

Overview

The second edition of the Visual Arts International Festival (VAIF) hosts a wide range of events, such as photography, graphic design, and book exhibitions, as well as workshops and talks by renowned artists and professionals in the field. The festival includes a rich program with photography and graphic design exhibitions, documentary screenings, talks, and presentations by distinguished artists, as well as educational programs for the public.

Pratical Info 

Participants can submit a portfolio that includes up to 10 photographs, which form a coherent thematic unit or narrative proposal. The portfolio must be accompanied by the project title, the artist statement, a curriculum vitae, a photo of the artist, and full contact details.

The jury will select the best portfolios, which will be presented in the group exhibition in Thessaloniki as part of the second Visual Arts International Festival – VAiF25. The selected artists will be informed via email, while the final results will be announced on the festival's official website and social networks.

The jury will consist of Stergios Karavatos (Independent Curator), Stefanos Kesidis (Artistic Director, Organizer of VAiF), Anastasia Markidou (Associate Professor, Director of the "FEM" Postgraduate Studies Program), and Manolis Skoufias (Director of Studies, ESP+).
