Environment, ecology, circular economy, activism, social change, sustainable development, land enhancement, and community are the themes for the open call launched by Radar Festival.

Overview

The fourth edition of Radar Photo Festival is an imperfect future that calls all of us to action and a form of empathetic involvement with the things of the world in order to become sustainable from an egalitarian and inclusive perspective and to promote the adoption of a non-anthropocentric perspective in the worldview, starting with the analysis and questioning of human behavior.

Radar Festival relies on the power of images. If it is true that images circulate and are shared among individuals, giving rise to collective imaginaries that play a major role in cultural dynamics and change, then artistic storytelling can help create activism and nurture new collective imaginaries that change thinking, popularize best practices, enact consciousness raising, and promote interspecific relationships in the world ecosystem that are respectful of the environment and cultures.

Practical Info

Photographers must submit 5-10 images connected to this edition's theme, Futuri Imperfetti (Imperfect Futures), photography and community as shared tools for social and environmental innovation.
