Practical Info

Applicants must complete the online submission form. They may support their submission with an optional written statement outlining how their book relates to this year’s festival theme – inEquality – as well as how they have considered sustainability within the production of their book.

One selected artist will receive a £500 cash prize, for the strongest submission, published or self-published, which also resonates with the theme inEquality. In addition, a special commendation will be awarded for the book project that has involved exemplary practice, or innovation, in relation to sustainable photobook publishing. Un-published photobook dummies, maquettes and unique artists books can be submitted digitally and will be exhibited on the Photo|Frome website throughout the festival.
