“Xtreme Sightings” explores how urban perception and intimacy are reshaped by digital interfaces, advertising, and accelerated modes of connection.

Each sighting stems from a genuine encounter.

Photographs flow from hallucinatory architectural views to intimate close-ups of individuals whose behaviours have reached new extremes.

Human presence is mediated through screens and reflections, shaping contactless dating and transactions.

Some images arise from spontaneous observation, while others are reconstructed, depicting a reality where lived experience and representation increasingly overlap.

Public space becomes saturated with logos and advertising, while individuality intensifies within a globalized world.

Across different cities, a recurring visual language traces shared ways of seeing, from younger generations defined by dense online presence to regions where same-sex relationships are criminalized.

Intimacy emerges as something expressed, concealed, or negotiated.

The series invites viewers to reflect on how humans connect and how vision is filtered, distorted, and transformed.

Moving from hypnotic large-scale views to zoomed-in figurative portraits, “Xtreme Sightings” drifts between alienation and intimacy, between immediacy and distance.
