A photographic series exploring virtual realities, digital isolation, and fragmented human connection in contemporary everyday life.

What If We Are Already There?

What if the worlds we inhabit are no longer shared?

This series explores the subtle fragmentation of contemporary life through the presence of virtual realities and digital technologies. Within familiar domestic and public spaces, individuals remain physically close yet mentally separated, each absorbed into invisible parallel environments.

The work reflects on how technology reshapes our experience of connection, creating new forms of coexistence while simultaneously introducing distance and isolation. Virtual space becomes both a tool for discovery and a personal territory — a digital island existing beside others, but rarely fully intersecting with them.

Rather than presenting technology as purely utopian or destructive, the series observes the quiet transformation of human presence in an increasingly mediated world. Through staged everyday scenes, the project questions whether we are still experiencing reality together, or already living within separate archipelagos of perception.
