I never lived in the suburbs.

But somehow they became part of my childhood. The happiest place to go and live.

All my friends moved from the inner city to big, light apartments in the suburbs.

That way the suburbs had an aura of fairytale and happiness. When I went recently, it still felt like this was the place to live your life.
