Tutto arriva per chi sa aspettare

The project narrates the story of the Loggetta family using photographs and text. The images are a mix of photos taken by the artist, collages, and photos and postcards from the family archive.

The project explores the themes of identity, belonging, one's roots and the search for a place in the world. Who are the migrants? What are their feelings? Why do they migrate?

The scope is to raise such questions in the observer to reflect on the migrant’s past and present conditions through an intimate as well as collective analysis.

The project narrates the story of the Loggetta family using photographs and text. The images are a mix of photos taken by the artist, collages, and photos and postcards from the family archive. The text was written starting from the interviews to members of the Loggetta family and combining their story with the artist’s personal reflections.

“Everything comes to those who wait” is the motto that accompanied and that still accompanies the Loggetta family, the protagonists of the story, for generations. Both those who leave and those who remain hope that their daily sacrifices may one day be paid back.
