THIS IT NOT THE END

I have just lost my bestest friend to cancer and as I try to process this immense loss and struggle to let go, I strive to accept change, understanding by now, the love we receive doesn't die with them.

Sue was my muse,my confident, the one I was in contact with daily, tapping to what was really going in our lives emotionally finding the meaning in everything.

.Each time we lose someone we love we are confronted with the fact that this is a huge part of life- learning to live without , having our hearts broken

. On top of this I feel friendship isn't celebrated enough, it is a love story in itself.

We [ well my generation] were programmed to find the one, the love of your life,- having lost mine in my 30's [ to cancer, as with Sue] I have understood the sort of change that happens when someone dies- but your relationship doesn't go away, it continues....... they are everywhere, inside and out , influencing you as much as they always did. This body of work includes photos of Sue and dancers I work with, bestfriends of each other.
