One day, I moved into an apartment after its owner had died.
I never knew him. I have never seen his face.
Still, I feel at home here.
There is something in this space that I cannot explain, in the carpets, in the faded walls, in the objects left behind. It feels like a memory I have never lived.
This project began as a personal attempt to understand what “home” means beyond geography. Home appears in the work as a condition that can emerge unexpectedly, even within unfamiliar spaces.
