The Preciousness of Everyday Life.

This series is an attempt to feel the “untouchable cherished beauty” that emerges within the ambiguity inherent in each piece. When printing, I use Washi(Japanese paper).The colors bleed, creating a watercolor-like effect.

This series explores the theme of “preciousness”.

Precious things stir the heart merely by existing, sometimes even drawing tears.

Yet they are never something one can hold onto firmly.

For the essence of preciousness lies in its “untouchability” and “transience”.

Flowers bloom, and eventually scatter.

This transience embodies the very flow of time itself.

Even when we wish to protect them, flowers continue to change.

I believe it is this ephemeral cycle that deepens their preciousness.

I drew near to what I cherished, blurring its outline.

It seemed within reach, yet drawing too close shifted the focus, and its form faded away.

It was the sensation of losing sight of its very essence the moment I drew too close to what mattered most.


Perhaps what we cherish most should be watched over gently. Not too close, not too far, simply accepting its presence within a quiet stillness.

Is it not within this innate wavering and blurring that the truth of cherished beauty resides?

Like the memory of a joyful dinner.
