The local economy produces outsiders, that at the same time form part of the social unrest eternally present in the Argentine capital concerned with democratic structures and its cement phallus, the obelisk, a metaphor for the individual passivity of its inhabitants.
In their function as social governors such institutions take on the role of family. Stone giants are erected representing those to which we maintain a primary and instinctive connection, creating people who submit and subvert to their power games.
