Through these fragments, I wanted to reveal the daily struggle of those who, like me, live with Lymphedema condition A battle not seen, but always felt. This is not a story of defeat. It is a story of reclaiming dignity in the face of invisibility
In a world obsessed with flawless beauty, there exists a little-known and irreversible condition:
Lymphedema.
It is the antithesis of perfection—an indelible mark that sets us apart not only from others, but from the person we once were. It reshapes the body, but more profoundely, it reshapes identity.
Through these fragments of life, I sought to reveal the daily struggle of those who, like me, confront this condition.
A battle invisible to the eye, yet ever-present.
At the heart of this work, one word pierces the darkness:
VICTORY
Victory over the weight of gravity. Victory over pain—silent, yet unyielding.
A triumph not won with dazzling weapons, but with simple bandages—faithful allies in a quiet, relentless war.
I painted these bandages with bold, contrasting stripes: A visual echo of the tension between despair and hope.
These rolls of fabric, once sterile and cold, have become emblems of inner strength.
This is a story of transforming pain into power, and silence into expression.
