This story's purpose is to shine a light on the disappearing indigenous woman on various highways around British Columbia, Canada. However as being part of an ongoing project its here to expose the serious social issue of female vanishment across the globe.

"Stay" is a surrealistic, fashion-based, social statement that shines light on the disappearing indigenous women on various highways around British Columbia. Fashion is the key element that ties our project together. The flow of the dress, the dramatic wind reaction, it all aludes to the freedom of existence and the nostalgia of vanishment. British Columbia is not the only place where women are disappearing without a trace. I am from Mexico, my country is top leader in feminicides, so this project hits home for me and my goal is for it to remain ongoing wherever women are disappearing until the world shines light on this issue and being female stops being a disadvantage.
