Spring Awakening

A photographic series documenting the annual Spring Awakening event in Komoča, Slovakia, featuring WWII reenactments, military vehicles, and pyrotechnic displays. Captured between 2023 and 2025.

The photographs were taken during the annual Spring Awakening events in the village of Komoča, Slovakia, organized by the local branch of the Military History Club. The series features images from several editions of the event, beginning in 2023. Each year, the program includes historical military reenactments with period vehicles, pyrotechnic effects, and a variety of public attractions. The main highlight is an immersive and visually striking reenactment of World War II combat scenes.
