Spaces of No Connection

There are places where one seems suspended, unable to arrive or depart. These are isolated islands, where solitude prevails, voices remain unspoken, and yet one is still not seen by others.

Unwittingly, through my photographic journeys, I have captured spaces that resist both entry and exit—places where presence lingers without encounter. These spaces operate as islands: inhabited yet isolated, where one remains alone, unable to reach out, yet still exposed to the gaze of others. In a time shaped by fear, crisis, and fragmentation, this work questions whether contemporary life has transformed shared space into territories of non-connection.
