SKIN

“SKIN MELTS, JOINS TWO BODIES, CREATES SOUL”

In 2023, I began an artistic project titled “Skin”, which is still in progress. Each photograph of

this series invites reflection on the complexity and intrinsic beauty of the skin, which is not merely an

external barrier but a canvas that tells stories of life, culture, and identity. Skin becomes the language

through which the multiplicity of human experiences is expressed. Wrinkles, scars, textures, and

colours represent, not only genetic differences, but also the traces of lives lived in distinct historical and

geographical contexts.
