In captivity, trapped in his glass case, SirenaneriS is exposed to the public who come to observe him from afar.

Crowds of onlookers gather in the damp basement to admire his exotic and mysterious figure.

Half man, half fish.

Dreamy and fascinated gazes, eyes full of dismay and disquiet rest on its shiny fishbone in a carousel of excitement and terror.

The eyes of the payers glide curious and indiscreet on her pearly skin, follow the sinuous curves of her back until they dreamily rest on the thin and delicate white hairs of her long eyelashes.

The girls fall in love, the sobbing children cling to the pants of their fathers who, in turn, observe with their faces distorted by disgust.

But SirenaneriS is not a victim .. and grows , in their gaze.

Like a contemporary Narcissus, they know the beauty of their being and fall in love with it every day.

Reflected in the drops of steam that bathe the glass of the display case, their face appears painted in the play of mirrors that restores a multiplied and shiny beauty.

SirenaneriS is proud and unique, in the extraordinary features of its hybrid body it embraces metamorphosis and constant evolution.

Fluid, adaptable, powerful. Able to survive and navigate between worlds.

He wonders if those men and women beyond the glass, immobile, compliant and coherent, ever think of their own cage.
