Silent souls

This series is a result of the ongoing pandemic which started in 2019. We all faced lockdowns in 2020 when we were not allowed to step out of our houses. That was the time I started working rigorously on the project which was in my mind for quite a long time. Things were 'LESS Certain and Normal' at that time. And that was a blessing in disguise. I started experimenting and innovating things in a way that was not usual. Something I had never done before.I found newness in all the things around. As if I was looking at everything with a fresh pair of eyes.

This project has not only helped me discover people, their emotions, feelings or physical strengths and weaknesses but it has ultimately led me on a journey of self discovery. This series includes people from my family, my helper as we were all cooped up inside our homes. As a street photographer I did not let myself give any excuse to create something without stepping out of the house with a camera in my hand.

For me it is very important not just to create artworks but also let the viewer know about me through my works. Creating pictures that have my impression and voice is what I have always yearned for. With honesty and love I started creating these image and I continue to do it till date.
