SHOW ME WHO I AM

SHOW ME WHO I AM is an ongoing documentary–fiction series that portrays people in personal spaces, exploring what I call “in-between moments”: fleeting states in which one is physically present yet mentally adrift.

I photograph friends and family who, in a way, become fictional characters. Together, we create images that exist between reality and performance. At its core, the work emerges from a feeling of displacement: a state of emotional stillness in which I feel unable to act. I often find myself overwhelmed by emotion yet paralyzed by it, as if my body were suspended between movement and inertia.

The people in my images are not photographed to represent an identity. Their bodies function instead as a medium and a surface through which I project my own emotions, memories, and internal states.
