SHE

This project explores vulnerability, strength and courage as expressions of rawness of the female energy through a poetic visual narrative.

This photographical proposition is called ‘She’.

‘She’ is made of 9 photographs acting as 9 chapters, each of them having an independent presence, yet each of them existing through the others, creating between them a co-fertility. 3 chapters are photographs of glimpses of raw painted movements I did.

I explore with ‘She’ a form of rawness and vulnerability of femininity, yet manifesting strength and awakened energetical power. I believe in the female energy and the beautification of the sexual and powerful feminine strength through creation and photography. I tell a story of raw beauty, of pure female courage.

I explore this here through a poetic visual narrative, the atmosphere tells the story.

I contact the core of a form of existence, catching a movement as a force and as a vulnerability, a movement as a philosophy, as an All, as a feeling.

The photographs of the brushed shapes complete the story, giving a suggestion of this narrative and proposing to look differently at the other chapters. They act as breaks, invitations, clues and a form of pureness of the movement.

All 9 chapters represent a woman, or women, She or They: the blurriness of this information matters. It’s about the wave of the mind wondering through photography. It’s about the photograph becoming an invitation, telling an immateriality. That’s one of the powers inherent in photography that I believe in.
