Seeds of Vietnam

This project speaks about Vietnam spirituality and community that blessed my soul, but also speaks of the microvariations given by capitalism that deeply affects community and people.

During the month of march 2023 I made my first non-organized trip, in Vietnam: no booked hotels, no guides, no google - searching for typical turistic attraction. I wanted to ask vietnamese people about the places where I could truly find something different or places where I could find the pure energy of the locals community. With the help of a sustainable and slow-tourism agency I discovered places like villages or farms where I dind't see a single tourist, and it was nice, until I felt really bad because tourism creates deep damage to  the people and place’s identity. You are inevitable part of this process even though you try not to act or not to see the same places. I think there is no more "good tourist" today but you can also be someone who can have a deep passion for traveling, especially today where differences about culture and economy are so deep and well-seen. Vietnam is so pure about spirituality and rituals, but is also constantly changing: people, landscapes, economy.
