Salvation by Water is a monochromatic photo series that explores our intimate relationship with water. Captured on analog film, these images reveal the timeless beauty and fragility of water, from serene reflections to wild waves, emphasizing our connection to nature and the impact of human activities on delicate ecosystems.

Growing up by the sea, I developed a deep attachment to water. This personal connection, combined with my university studies on living organisms, highlighted how crucial the water cycle is to all life on Earth. This series merges scientific curiosity with poetic expression, documenting water's role in sustaining life and the threats it faces.

Each photograph is a testament to water's silent yet powerful presence, capturing moments from tranquil streams to stormy seas. The black-and-white format strips away distractions, focusing on the raw beauty and vulnerability of water environments. Salvation by Water urges us to reconsider our relationship with water and recognize our responsibility in preserving this vital resource for future generations.
