Portraiture of various Black gender diverse subjects, particularly juxtaposing Black men in a sensitive, visually comforting, and feminine setting and wardrobe. Evoking a sense of paradise and a space of openness, intimate vulnerability with Black subjects in the forefront.
Depicted are subjects Gin and Justice, Simon Commissione, and Lexson Millington. The latter is a fashion force in hometown Toronto, gender-bending fashion pieces and expressing non-conventional wardrobe. My work is an invitation for BIPOC individuals to express vulnerability, advocate for themselves, and find enrichment through colour and film.
