I live in London, my family lives in Poland. This situation got really difficult in 2020, so much so that at the end of that year I decided to buy a car and drive over 24 hours to my parents. At the age of 37, I was lucky enough to spend almost six months with them, celebrate Christmas, New Year’s and Easter together, and once again live under the same roof, even if only for a short period of time. In March 2021 my dad got Covid and it was a scary time; he was coughing constantly, not sleeping, and often hallucinating. It was even scarier because my mom was fighting her own illness and had no immune system to fight off a Covid attack. Here is a glimpse into those days.

Times have changed, my mom passed away and this will never happen again, but project "Home" continues with my own child.
