Beyond being an integral channel of distribution of goods and products within different regions of the country, these trucks are also conveyers of powerful messages of admonition, spiritual evangelism, cultural values and even motivational talks.

As one who has explored documenting Nigerian cities through road travel, something that keeps fascinating me is the expression of Art on haulage trucks used largely to transport goods and wares across different locations in the country.

These trucks are highly integral to the distribution of products across the different geo political regions of the nation and you can't but notice them if you commute through the interstate highways.

However, beyond being major modes of transportation of goods and wares, and sometimes migrants moving from one region to the other in search of greener pastures, one thing in particular that I find most enchanting about these trucks are the powerful messages conveyed by the art designs made on them.

These trucks are practically conveyers of deep vast socioreligious messages ranging from words of admonition, spiritual edification, cultural values, economic insights and powerful wise sayings.

It's as if this trucks a practically preaching to you, or encouraging you, envangelising or dishing out nuggets on how to navigate life. They are indeed preachers of steel.

Ironically many times you find out that the drivers and motor boys attached to these trucks sparsely represent the messages conveyed by the trucks.
