A virtual travel within the walls of my house, documenting the stillness of people in lcokdown all around the world in order to provide an insight into the spectrum of individual spaces and experiences.
My intention was to virtually travel within the walls of my house, in order to document the stillness of people in quarantine all around the world and provide an insight into the spectrum of individual spaces and experiences.
Through this project, I intended to investigate the concept of limit as a confining line, subjective space as well as its arbitrary nature, through an intimate and emotional process. A country, a city, a house: their existence is defined by their boundaries. We move inside those spaces that somehow define who we are, who we are not.
A limit usually implies the presence of a restriction to respect, an obstacle to overcome or an enemy to defeat. The historical time that we are living in is emblematic in showing how limits can be extremely tangible, as much as they can manifest in pure abstraction.
It’s within those limits that we define freedom, and amidst them we navigate to find our place.
