Night falls down in Havana and the Malecon stains in a black blue. The waves of the ocean assault the Malecon. 8 Km of tropical dam to minimize the fury of the Caribbean. The waves splash on the concrete wall. The water covers the sidewalks and leaks through the drains back into the sea. Calm returns.

The urban façade wants to be restored after it`s ongoing exposure to the sea. The few urban interventions in recent decades are one of the causes of passive accelerated destruction of Havana, especially on the seafront. Sun, wind, salt, waves, human activity and time set the current Malecon decaying.
