Aalana (Nest) is an ongoing documentary project centered on my home in Punjab.
This project explores the idea of nest not just as a physical dwelling, but as an emotional anchor, a space of intimacy, memory, and belonging. Through quiet, documentary style images of family, rituals, and daily rhythms, the work reflects on the subtle textures of home life. The project becomes both a personal archive and a meditation on how domestic spaces nurture identity, connection, and continuity across time.
