Is there evidence for the existence of parallel universes? Through a series of photographs spanning various time periods and sources, I explore the concept of a multiverse, as described by cosmologists and physicists. Titled "Multi-verse," this series delves into the idea of alternate realities coexisting alongside our own. Each photograph embodies this notion through its temporal, spatial, and thematic diversity, accentuated by visual distortions and manipulated light. Beyond the conventional understanding of the multiverse, I deconstruct the term "multiverse" into "multi-verse," suggesting the myriad narratives or "verses" conveyed through these images. Amidst global challenges such as environmental degradation and political unrest, my interpretation of the imagery evolved from moments of everyday life to include discord and unease. Each image's significance fluctuates, mirroring the dynamic nature of our world and our perceptions. I explore the intersections and repetitions of past and present, the visible and hidden with elements from our universe. It watches…it is there. The photographs serve as a conduit of exploring the possibilities within chaos, inviting viewers to contemplate alternative narratives—a journey into a multi-verse of interpretations.
