Mother tongue and Bond

I use Photography as a way to re-connect and re-define my role as an artist , a carer and a mother.

In these series I explore the intimacy and connection with my daughter through collage ,props and play while digging into my family's history tracing clues about neurodiversity.

As an immigrant, also grand daughter of immigrants words can't translate faithfully feelings and sensations. Identity and belonging become an out of focus constant and the camera allows me to find a tangible place.
