Everyday moments on Jaffa's shore, seeking our shared humanity.

Not long ago, during a missile attack, I found myself in a public toilet with a Muslim woman I'd never met. No sides, no politics. Just two women wanting to live their lives.

I live in Jaffa, an Arab-Jewish city, where history and politics are always present. Against this backdrop, the Ajami coastline becomes respite; an abstract stage for everyday life, where I seek what we share.
