MANIFESTO OF THE MARGINS (LANDSCAPE OF THE URBAN EDGE)

The map and its demarcations are a narrative strategy where part of the territory is configured. The investigation of these margins, with a vocation to map and document can be a fundamental element for the production of critical statements.

The map is not the territory. It is, yes, the socially constituted space. That is why I try to explore the limits, the borders and the margins as physical figures, as symbols and as elements of social construction that exceed the official impositions. Investigate the figure of the margin as a geographic site and as a social condition; as a form of division and differentiation. Analyzing the inside of this line: a perimeter that excludes, that includes, but above all contains.

"Manifesto of the margins (landscape of the urban edge)" is a visual research project that seeks to break the structural impositions in our relationship with space and its ordering, to give rise to a personal encounter with the path that is traveled and the possibility of generating new proposals that are present as alternatives to the formulations that do not contemplate the subjectivity of the territorial processes.
