LEFTOVERS These works address the relationship between education and creation, the issue of leftovers and recyclability, as well as the medium of photography.

TEST STRIPS

These are enlargements of test strips made from the works of my former students. Since they were created from paper prints, they simultaneously show the "front" and "back" of the "original" images, as well as the internal structure of the paper. Reduced to a flat surface, they reveal how a photograph can also be interpreted as an object.
The test strips, as by-products of the enlargements, become independent images. On one hand, they carry the work of my former students and the experience and process of knowledge transfer; on the other hand, they are also symbols of chemical photography for me. What intrigued me most was their loss of function, as they become independent from the final, laboratory-produced images.

SILVER ON GLASS (PETRI DISH) | CONTACT

The Petri dishes, which carry the silver dissolved in the chemicals used by the students during the photo development process, contain the essence of photography, as they hold the silver that ensures the light sensitivity. At the same time, the form, the "container," is also significant, as it refers to chemistry and experimentation.
Photograms made from these glass objects reduce the glass carriers to a flat surface. Beyond all this, they reflect on the reproductive nature of photography and the play between negative and positive inherent in it.
