At high altitude, the boundary between self and landscape dissolves. Breath, blood, fatigue, and rest become the channels through which the mountain permeates the body—not a view observed, but a terrain internalized. "Landscape as Inner Terrain."

Landscape as Inner Terrain

In the high altitudes of the Himalayas, the boundary between the self and the environment dissolves. Through a process of slow observation, this project chronicles how the external landscape is internalized into a sensory map. It is no longer just a view, but a physiological permeation—where every breath, every friction against stone, and every stretching horizon reshapes the inner topography of the observer. The terrain is no longer "out there"; it is embodied within.
