Set in my hometown of Kurigram, this series observes the everyday work that shapes its people and landscape. Through scenes of construction, movement, and quiet return, the photographs trace how labor and place intertwine.

Kurigram is a place where the rhythm of work shapes both the land and its people. This series, photographed between 2024 and 2025, follows the everyday labor that defines life here, from the building of the Mawlana Bhashani Bridge to the quiet persistence of those who farm, weld, and carry the weight of daily survival.

The sequence begins at the bridge, still under construction, where welders and brick workers build its foundation. From there, the images move through the markets and roads of Kurigram, tracing different forms of movement and effort. Each photograph observes the gestures and atmospheres that reveal how people inhabit their work.

The final image returns to the same bridge, now almost complete, as a farmer walks home beneath the evening light. It closes a cycle of progress and belonging, reflecting how labor is woven into the identity of this place, and into my own memory of home.
