Isolated child

My intention was to document the preventive isolation in Colombia due to covid, through the perspective of my 12-year-old niece.

The decision to interrupt on-site classes in public and private schools undoubtedly generated a greater impact on minors. The confinement and biosecurity norms are methods that they are unfamiliar with and that they have had to gradually adapt to their lives, taking into account that many children have been left alone at home without the accompaniment of their parents, due to the fulfillment of their jobs.

Paula tries to find different ways to spend her time doing new activities so as not to fall into the monotony of the pandemic days. finally, she starts virtual classes and begins to see a more hopeful outlook for socializing with her friends again.
