My work represents my idea about the pain sexual abused victims feel. Sometimes they feel lost, sometimes angry, sometimes guilty, sometimes scared, many times incredulous and even embarrassed, struggling to survive through their lives.

This series represents what walking on the shoes of sexual abused victims means.

Sometimes they feel lost, sometimes angry, sometimes guilty, sometimes scared, many times incredulous and even embarrassed, struggling to survive through the mental health issues this situation has generated in them.

I have applied a high key to create a dramatical environment, where the model remains inside of a stocking, limiting their movements. This is the message behind their feelings, baring this horrible and ugly state in silence dealing with their own drama.
