Intertwined dissects the constructed nature of memory, perception, and image through the literal deconstruction and reconstruction of photographs as thread. This body of work transforms images from fixed documents into malleable material, exposing photography's fundamental artifice while creating new possibilities for how we understand the fabrication of visual meaning.

By converting photographs into thread—using image transfer gel to migrate emulsions onto fiber, or coating thread directly with liquid photographic emulsion—the series makes visible the usually invisible labor of constructing reality. Each thread carries not just an image fragment, but evidence of the multiple translations required to create what we accept as "truth": from light to chemistry, chemistry to image, image to transfer medium, medium to fiber.
