Among Chinese gravestones weathered by time, where names carved in unfamiliar scripts lean gently toward eternity, a birthday stands like a fragile rebellion. Black fabric absorbs the afternoon light, becoming part of the mourning earth, while tall branches stretch skyward as if negotiating with heaven. A small red flame trembles above a chocolate cake, stubborn and luminous, refusing to be swallowed by the hush of the cemetery. “In the middle of silence, something chooses to burn.”

This image whispers of a long pilgrimage through tangled corridors of doubt, where hope thinned like smoke and nearly vanished into the night.
