In Between

A series exploring the space between distance and connection. Through moments of near contact, two individuals move toward each other without ever fully merging. Intimacy exists here as something partial, shifting, and in motion.

In Between explores the space between distance and connection.
Across a sequence of fleeting moments, two individuals move toward and away from each other, never fully occupying the same space at once. Hands reach but hesitate, bodies lean but do not fully merge, and intimacy unfolds in fragments rather than resolution.

Set within a quiet natural landscape on Vancouver Island, the work reflects on the tension between separation and closeness—how connection can exist without permanence, and how proximity does not always lead to union.

In this in-between space, intimacy is not fixed, but shifting—held briefly, felt deeply, and continually in motion.
