I like to merge natural terrain with contemporary self-expression. In this series, the subjects embody autonomy and personal choice in a way that feels distinctly of our time, yet the physical connection to the land suggests something timeless.
In this series, I work with individuals who are experiencing significant physical and personal change. Each subject is photographed before and after events such as mastectomy, hysterectomy, recovery from trauma, or other life shifts that alter how they relate to their bodies and sense of self. The work follows these moments across time, allowing change to be felt rather than seen.
The photographs are not meant to explain or resolve these experiences. Instead, they observe how the body holds transition and how identity is renegotiated through lived circumstance.
This project is concerned with what it means to be seen during periods of transformation. By resisting spectacle and simplification, the work offers space for dignity and self-determination, acknowledging the complexity of change without imposing a singular interpretation.
