In making these images I look indirectly through a flexible mirror that shuns the conventional gaze. The formal distance from the advertising and informative images of everyday consumption allows the image to escape its usefulness.

I explore the convergence between spontaneous scenes and artificial constructions that feed on intimate memories that happened and are renewed in downtown Guadalajara. I am mobilized by doubts about lived experiences and the flexibility of their meaning through time. What emotions prevail? Will we be able to be together again?

By looking indirectly through a flexible mirror, the images distorted as a reference of the real. It is stripped of its conventional use and stops showing what we are by avoiding definition. It allows us to elaborate something else.

This series seeks to manifest from its form some questions to the traditional codes of representation. Dialoguing with some elements of fashion photography and street photography. Through the performative act in front of the camera and from the camera, and from my point of view, I seek to investigate what seems to be outside the logic of normal behavior. It seeks to generate a new approach to these aesthetics that allow me to reimagine the past and the future. It allows a specular, playful and critical other. Identity unfolds and stretches like matter that wants to be something else.
