This project explores the world through the concept of “holons,” a term coined by Arthur Koestler to describe entities that are simultaneously whole and part of a greater whole, existing in an organic, interconnected structure. Over four years, I have photographed landscapes, urban environments, and fleeting moments across Berlin, Japan, Africa, and Europe, seeking to capture the subtle truths of life beyond narrative or imposed stories.

In Berlin, daily life, conversations with friends, and the city’s rhythm shaped my photographic perspective, allowing me to notice the gray zones and overlooked spaces where authenticity emerges. Travels—from Tanzania and Kenya to the Canary Islands, Switzerland, Iceland, and Italy—offered encounters with environments that reflected my personal vision of nature and humanity, reinforcing my sense of compositional and conceptual balance.

The images are presented as an archive of experiences rather than a linear story. They emphasize the organic relationships between elements—moments, people, landscapes—revealing patterns, textures, and truths that are often invisible in ordinary life. Through “Holon,” I aim to show how photography can capture layered realities, offering viewers an opportunity to perceive the interconnected beauty of our world.
