Heart and soul - PhMuseum

I have been photographing female universes of indigenous Mexican women in their rural communities for many years.

Their daily tasks are strenuous and long. Many of them have a poor or null school education. However they are great craftswomen,seamstresses, embroiderers and cooks, they even know throughly, herbs, plants and other natural remedies to cure their families for they don´t have the resources to pay for a hospital.

With this body of work i want to pay tribute to this valuable women who are the heart of their communities and the soul of my country.
