Faceless

The suffix "less" means lack. This collection of self-portraits stems from my existential absence, shaping my identity with doubt where certainty once stood. It narrates my struggle with a lost ideal self, as I confront and omit parts of my essence.

The meaning and concept of the suffix "Less" in English means lacking in features. The starting point of this collection comes from my personal experience of existential absence. This inadequacy had such an influence that it was extended to my whole identity, and I felt substantive doubt, whereas certainty could have been the basis of my existence. The following self-portraits are my experiences and a narrative of my encounters with my individuality and essence that was once ideal but is no longer. The audience observes how I face and deal with this absence in this collection—an encounter that has led to my disregard and omission of part or almost all of myself.
