The people of Katsina Ala Basin survive after floods caused by the Kashimbila Multipurpose Dam constructed by the Federal Republic of Nigeria depriving communities in Cameroons and Nigeria of their basic livelihoods. Finding drinking water is a difficult task.

Ukoh Bibi, chief of Bibi that abuts Kashimbila Multipurpose Dam is 130 years old. He receives his great-grand son with whom he shares a drink. A farmer is carrying a bunch of plantains from higher ground to his family. After walking for long, a young man scoops water from the only drinking point serving a community of over 2000 people in Alum Unpack. After everything is destroyed the beauty if Ezong does not lose her smile. Among surviving objects, a tree surrounded by boulders stands all adversity.
